Summary
A national law firm has a position available for an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) in their San Francisco Office, supporting the Employment Litigation department and Tech Transaction & Data Privacy Group. Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
Successful candidates for this position must possess 5+ years of legal administrative assistant experience in a law firm, with emphasis on litigation and corporate and transactional experience would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
• Candidates must be versed in State and Federal Court e-filing.
• Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and local and state court rules.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including the expertise of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage files, open new matters as attorneys request, and maintain all relevant document inclusions for the files.
• Responsible for various administrative tasks including strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage calendars and travel schedules.
• Must be comfortable acting as an executive assistant dealing with confidential matters.
• Assist with billing projects and reviews.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess strong initiative, demonstrate an ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues/problems independently, have strong organizational skills, and manage multiple projects/tasks at a time. Other essential requirements for this position include the ability to communicate effectively and professionally to develop rapport with co-workers as well as clients; maintain strong working relationships; exhibit meticulous attention to detail; handle confidential and sensitive information; and possess strong proofreading and typing skills.
Compensation
The budgeted salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000, non exempt.
